Derbyshire Rural Digital Connectivity Grants

Derbyshire County Council is investing £900,000 to improve broadband access in rural and underserved areas.

This funding will support 2 new grant schemes aimed at helping homes and businesses that currently struggle with extremely poor internet speeds and where there are no other plans in place either by commercial operators or government's Project Gigabit to upgrade the infrastructure within the next 3 years.

This scheme is in early stages of development. We are working to establish the necessary processes and onboard suppliers to ensure it is delivered effectively and transparently. Once we are in a position to do so, full details -including eligibility criteria, application guidance, and timelines - will be published.

Is better, faster broadband available in your area?
